How to submit

A place for your voice.

TPSP is open to secondary-school students in JS1, JS2, JS3, SS1, SS2 and SS3. A parent or legal guardian must submit the application.

The audition is online. If selected, contestants attend the physical event at the Main Hall, Ilorin Innovation Hub, on Thursday, 19 November 2026. The first round, semifinal and final all happen that day.

Your audition prompt

“If I could change one thing in my school or community, it would be…”

Explain the change, why it matters and the difference it could make.

Keep it natural.
Keep it to a minute.

  1. Choose your idea

Think about one change in your school or community. Give yourself room to explain why it matters.

  2. Record in portrait

Hold the phone upright. Your video must be a maximum of 60 seconds. Include your name, class and school.

  3. Speak in your own voice

Speak naturally without reading a script. As a recording tip, choose a quiet spot and make sure your voice is easy to hear.

  4. Watch it back together

Check the sound, picture and duration with your parent or guardian before submitting.

Ready to share your idea?

A parent or legal guardian should open the existing application form, complete the requested information and submit the audition video.

Before you submit

The application deadline, accepted speaking languages, file types and upload size limit are awaiting confirmation. Check the form and contact the organiser if these details affect your entry.

Students in JS1–SS3 are eligible. The form’s introduction currently says “Senior Secondary School students”; its class choices include junior secondary classes.

Then comes the stage.

Auditions are reviewed to select approximately 50 contestants for the physical event. Fifteen advance to the semifinal, five to the final, and the top three receive the winner and runner-up places.

The organiser will confirm the selection timetable and how guardians will receive decisions. Submitting an audition does not confirm a place at the physical competition.
